For parents

Parenting is hard. Parents come to Fully Feeling because they are struggling and looking for support for their child and/or themselves as parents. We empower parents by helping them to fully feel, so they can access their instincts and learn skills to support their child with their specific challenges. Using concrete understandable tools, we help parents learn about emotions, both their child’s and their own, and understand behaviour through an emotion lens. Parents also learn how to create healthy boundaries, set effective limits and expectations, and strengthen relationships within their family.

 
 
 
 

For children, teens, and young adults  

Although we always involve parents in the therapy process, there are also times when it is appropriate to meet individually with children, teens, and young adults.  We focus on understanding behaviour and mental health challenges through an emotion lens, as challenging behaviour is often an attempt to avoid and cope with feelings. We help individuals to learn coping skills so that they can fully feel, deal with, and heal from painful emotions.
